Fabrice Balavoine brings 15 years of experience in Drug Discovery and Drug Development. He participated to the development of several drug candidates (new chemical entities, peptides and recombinant proteins) in different therapeutic areas. He is co-author of more than 30 peer-reviewed publications and patents.

Fabrice Balavoine is co-founder of Galactis Pharma and served previously as Vice President Chemistry of Sepal Pharma, Drug Discovery Director of Cerep and its subsidiary Anceris specialized in oncology. He led also several projects at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Paris (ENSCP, France), at Harvard Medical School (Boston, USA) and at the Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique (CEA, France) in the areas of labeled molecules, structural biology, nanobiotechnology, and chemical genetics.



Fabrice Balavoine holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University Paris-Sud. He is a graduate from the Ecole Supérieure de Physique et de Chimie Industrielle of Paris (ESPCI) and from the Executive MBA degree from the ESSEC & Mannheim Business School.
