Prior to join QGC, Fabrice Balavoine, 36, was head of drug development at drug discovery company CEREP. Previously, he was project leader at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie in Paris (ENSCP, France) and at Harvard Medical School (Boston, USA). He spent part of his career at France's Nuclear Energy Agency (CEA - Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique) where he directed several projects in the fields of radiolabelled molecules and structural biology. He has a doctorate in organic chemistry from the University of Paris Sud XI and a diploma from ESPCI (Ecole Supérieure de Physique et de Chimie Industrielle, Paris, France).
