Cardiovascular diseases, neurology and metabolic related diseases represent focus areas for QGC’s selection and management of innovative lifescience research projects.

By using its biotechnology and business expertise, QGC continue to enrich its pipeline by developing close collaborations with public and private scientific entities.

The recently announced partnerships with Inserm and CNRS to co-develop innovative drugs for hypertension and related cardiovascular diseases, marks a significant step forward a new development for the company.

QGC001 is the lead development compound generated under this June 2007 collaboration agreement between these two leading life science research organizations and QGC.
QGC001 is expected to have an increased capacity to facilitate control of blood pressure, by acting according to a new biological mechanism.

New discovery projects are ongoing with research organizations from Western and Central Europe to further enrich QGC’s pipeline.
